NEW CAPTAIN-ELECT
Following Gregor Steele's decision to step down from his role as Company Captain at the end of session 2011/12, the Company has been working to find a captain-elect and successors to the other roles currently undertaken by Gregor.
Having completed that process and obtained the required approval of Cadder Parish Church Kirk Session, the Company is pleased to announce that Lt. Linda Ritchie, currently Officer-in-Charge (OiC), Junior Section will be the new Captain of the 212th with effect from the conclusion of the current session's activities on 6 July 2012 (end of Company Section Summer Camp).
Commenting on Linda's appointment, retiring captain Gregor Steele said, "Linda has been an officer in the company for 14 years, commencing in Anchor Boys as a helper during my first year as captain in 1998. Since then Linda has served the Company as OiC Anchor Boys and more recently, OiC Junior Section. She brings to the role a great amount of enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge/experience of BB matters. I am quite sure, with the support of officers, boys and parents, she will do the 212th proud".
Other successors/roles confirmed are as follows:
OiC, Company Section:
Lt. Fraser Crawford

OiC Senior Section:
Lt. Graham Harvey

Company Treasuer:
Lt. Jenni Dunn
These appointments will also be effective from the end of the session.
